The Earl T. Shinhoster Youth Leadership Institute is raising up young leaders to meet the challenges of the 21st century and beyond. Each year, the Institute builds its program around seven core areas that we believe will help our young leaders acquire new knowledge, develop specific skills, and gain more confidence in their speaking, critical thinking, and writing capabilities.

The Institute kicks off with a Summer Institute from June 8-12, 2025, 9 am - 5 pm each day. 

If you or your young leader would like to participate, please fill out the registration form below. Students will be accepted on a rolling basis until capacity is reached.

The theme for this year, Entrepreneurship: Moving from Consumer to Producer. Over the course of the week-long Institute, students will learn what entrepreneurship is, how to create their own business, the tenets of leadership, public speaking, and much more.
